Start Planning Your Ireland Vacation 

Ireland is truly a magical place to visit, whether your ancestors came from Ireland or you're only Irish on St. Patrick's Day.

It's called the Emerald Isle for a spectacular reason - I challenge you to find anywhere else with the exquisite green colors to be found there. I live in Western Oregon, considered to be pretty green itself, but I saw colors in Ireland I've only seen before in photographs.

Ireland offers any number of vacation opportunities. For some, the ultimate experience will be visiting several of the hundreds of spectacular golf courses. For others, the opportunity to see all manner and style of castles will do the trick. Is a city vacation, with arts and culture and night life more your cup of tea? Check out all that Dublin, Galway, or Belfast have to offer. Spectacular cliffs and seas scapes? All around the island for you, then. And don't forget the beauty of the mid-lands.

You can find just about any method of touring or focus for your tour you can think of. Drive yourself, bicycle, walk, hop from fishing hole to fishing hole, from church to church, or from ruin to ruin.
